Future technologies at the Paris Air Show. What surprised the main international exhibition in the sphere of aviation industry?

Paris Air Show celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. There were about 2,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and almost 300,000 visitors. The AKM Group-CZ team always follows the industry’s novelties: therefore it was important for us to get acquainted with the current offers from the world leaders of defense and aviation industry personally. Not surprisingly, manufacturers such as Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and EADS were in the center of attention.

Perhaps the highlight of Paris Air Show 2009 was the unmanned aerial vehicle Talarion from EADS. Talarion is a joint development between France, Spain and Germany and represents an advanced solution in the field of reconnaissance and combat drones. It is expected to be operational by 2015.

The demonstration flights of the F-15E Strike Eagle and C-17 Globemaster III also impressed and showed the capabilities of modern aircraft.

During the exhibition, which lasted 7 days from June 15 to June 21, AKM Group-CZ managed to hold more than a dozen business meetings, during which plans for cooperation and opportunities to sign memorandums with new international partners were discussed.
